40 PERSONAL QUESTIONS OPPOSED TO THE GOOD

40 PERSONAL QUESTIONS OPPOSED TO THE GOOD

If you have to make interviews outside the country, or in the local brand of a foreign company, make sure to be aware of the national legislation and the internal policy of the company in relation to the questions they consider acceptable and unacceptable. For example, in the United States you can ask a guy whether he is older than 18, but not an adult if they are older than 40 (see Appendix).

In general, in any part of the world, there are questions related to life, history and intimate conduct, that just out of respect for the other prohibit us to ask about. In this chapter, we give you a list of this type of questions, to which you can add extra questions that in your own criteria might be included.

By the way, if by specific reasons of offered position it is important to know any of the aspects listed as unacceptable, you should apply to your good taste to pose the question in the best possible way.

The most general advice is to remember that all the questions of the interview should be related to the position.
