Contact modalities: (type of bond, level of vocabulary, verbal and non verbal language, persuasion, oral communication, impact) The verbal and non verbal communication are competencies that can be evaluated along the interview. Verbal communication, paying special attention to the verbal fluency, the richness of vocabulary, the expressiveness, the communication precision, the capacity to express feelings, the originality of speech.

The non verbal communication, through the sight, the way of greeting and shaking hands, the facial expression, smile, pitch, volume and tone, gesticulation. This is an extended process, communicating includes knowing how to listen and make an easy access to available information possible for others.

Even in this case, we can evaluate verbal communication through some questions.

  5. Are there any situations that get better adapted to written communication? What kind of materials have you picked? Give me examples.
  6. Describe in a few minutes a specific process inside the focus of your task.
  7. Talk to me about a relevant presentation. How was your audience like? How did you do it? What difficulties did you have?
  8. What is the role of the technology in your communications style?
  9. How do you express your thankfulness or disappointment feelings in the work environment?
  10. Do you have an open doors work style?
  11. What is more important in your work: written or oral communication?
  12. In your opinion, what are the most important elements of an effective presentation? What type of resources have you used in a presentation?
  13. If an important report must be written, who do you assign this task in your department?
  14. How much of your work is about listening?
  15. What are the different strategies you use when you talk with different levels of organizations?
  16. Describe your most satisfying experience or the most disappointing one when you had to present and gain the support of the top management for an idea or proposal?
  17. What is the best idea you tried to “sell” to a superior that was not accepted? Why do you think it was not accepted? What did you do?
