5. Why did you choose your major? Or: Why did you study?

6. Did you parents influence your election?

7. What subjects did you like the most and the least?

8. Was there any subject that you found particularly difficult?

9. If you could start your studies again, what career would you choose? Why?

10. At the university, what sources did you use to convince someone about your ideas?

11. Based on the things you know about the work market, what subjects were the most useful?

12. What advice would you give a student who is planning to study your major?

13. What are your most memorable experiences at the university?

14. What extra curricular activities have you participated in? Why did you choose them? Which one did you enjoy the most and why?

15. (In the case of the people who have worked during their studies) What did you learn from your work experience as a student?

16. What were the subjects in which you got your highest grades? Why? How do you consider that will influence in your development in this position?

17. And the lowest grades? Failures?

18. If the interviewee used more years than the standard to finish their studies, then you can inquire about the causes: for example, if they skipped their studies for a period and then retook them. The interviewee shouldn’t feel that you are judging them for a bad choice of career or an interruption of it. You just need to know about the motivations in each case.

20. (Applicable question in the case that a person doesn’t work is topics related to their university studies) Why do you work in this field and not in something more compatible with your profession?

33. Which of your abilities can be improved at this moment?

34. Who (or what) has been the biggest influence in your life?

35. Are you a person with a lot of initiative? Give me an example.
